Where Colour Shapes Experience.

Grace Morgan is a contemporary artist with a background in international relations. The work explores the intersection of abstract art, colour psychology, and cultural identity. Her practice is driven by an enduring curiosity about how colour influences human emotions and behaviour, as well as how cultural perspectives shape our responses to visual art. Through her paintings, she aims to evoke deeply personal interpretations while also fostering connections between viewers and shared experiences.

Since the debut exhibition in 2022, Grace has participated in over fifteen exhibitions across Canada, the United States, and Europe. Her work evolves with each exhibition, expanding the possibilities for immersive and participatory engagement.

Statement

I am captivated by the many ways abstract art is perceived, with each viewer bringing a distinct interpretation. My work explores colour psychology and cultural diversity, using intentional palettes to ground, calm, or energize. By mixing paints directly on the canvas, I create a flowing spectrum of unique hues that evoke personal memories while fostering shared emotional resonance.
